Golepar,  Persian Hogweed,  scientifically known as Stachys byzanthina, is a perennial plant with a strong stem that can grow up to 1.5 meters in height and a diameter of 15-20 millimeters at the base. It has large basal leaves with long petioles that transform into umbels with a radius of up to 20 centimeters, which is the location of the plant's fruit.

 

 

 

Geographical distribution:

It can be found in Iran (provinces of Mazandaran, Kurdistan, Khorasan, and Azerbaijan) and southeastern Turkey.
