. Introduction to Golden marguerite
Golden marguerite ,with the scientific name of Tripleurospermum disciforme, is a one or two-year-old plant that reaches a height of 10-70 centimeters. It is also known as False Chamomile and has yellow flowers without petals.
Geographical Distribution:
This plant grows in Iran (Gilan, Isfahan, Azerbaijan, etc.), Central Asia, Pakistan, Iraq, and the Caucasus.
Active Ingredients:
Matricaria ester and Cis-Calamenene are the major compounds in this plant.
Therapeutic Properties and Effects:
Today in Iran, this plant is widely used for washing wounds and skin diseases, but its medicinal uses require further research.
